Nothing lives perpetually and then no cell phone’s battery. Here are some simple reminders that can extend the life of the mobile battery.
It is often heard that the mobile must charge for 24 hours before it can be used for the first time. However, the rule is old news.
Today’s batteries must be treated differently, otherwise they are simply destroyed.
The following advice applies ONLY to the so-called lithium ion batteries, which is typically the type of battery used in modern electronics. If you have older nickel-metal (NiMH) batteries, maintenance is significantly different.
1. Charge your phone at night
To ensure enough power for the day, you should charge your phone once a day. Then you do not risk the battery being completely discharged.
There is also nothing about letting the mobile sit in the charger overnight.
2. Do not empty the battery
Do not use the battery completely.
You risk being destroyed and no longer being recharged.
3. Charge the mobile in different states
The optimum is to charge the mobile phone when the battery still has about 80 percent capacity left. Doing this allows the battery to be fully charged about 2,000 times.
If you choose to charge only when the mobile battery is almost completely used, you can actually only charge about 500 times.
4. Use your phone directly from the package
When you buy a new mobile phone, you can use it immediately.
Mobile phones always have power on the battery from the factory.
This is because a battery loses a bit of its capacity simply by lying down. Therefore, it is important to have power on so that the battery is not damaged.
However, as far as possible, make sure to charge the battery as soon as possible.
5. Batteries last a maximum of two years
You need to remember that regardless of how you charge your mobile phone, the battery capacity will begin to deteriorate after about two years.
Then it will need a lot of replacement.
