The Google Translate translation service is not only a useful tool for translating into the light end. You can actually get some easter eggs out of it.

Google Translate is a really handy tool if you need to light-translate small phrases. But, like on many other Google sites, little secret tricks are hiding in Google Translate.

We have found a beatboxing example with Google Translate for you here.

Beatboxing

In Google Translate, there is a wonderful feature where you can read the text in the language you have chosen. That way you can hear how it sounds – and then you can have a little fun.

Head over to translate.google.com and enter this clump of text in the box on the left (or just click this link):

On the upper right side, on the “German” part, click the speaker icon to read the text up. It is worth noting that “Beatbox” now stands for “Listen” when you hover over the icon now. Voilá – German beatboxing!
